Appointment Information

GP appointments are set at 10 minutes long. If you feel you need more time, please ask for a double appointment.

Routine Appointments (Non-Urgent)

Appointments are available up to 4 weeks in advance. This could be either a face to face consultation or via telephone. You can tell the receptionist which you would prefer at the time of booking.

Urgent Appointments (Acute Illnesses)

If you have an urgent problem that cannot wait, we will always try to deal with this on the same day. If our appointments on the day are full, the reception team will request that the Doctor or Nurse contacts you via telephone to assess your problem.

Nurse Appointments

Our Nurse appointments vary in duration. This may mean that an appointment you wish to book requires longer than 10 minutes. Please tell reception when booking a Nurse appointment what this is for ie Blood test, Cervical Smear. This will ensure that you have the correct amount of time allocated to you.
