The Practice Nurses are fully qualified and competent to carry out the following duties:
Chronic Disease Management such as Diabetes, Asthma
Cervical smears and family planning advice
HRT
Health Promotion, eg lifestyle advice
Childhood Immunisations
Travel immunisation and advice on precautions abroad. Certain immunisations for travelling, ie yellow fever, are chargeable. Please ask reception for details.
Routine injections
Assisting minor surgery
Ear Irrigation
Wound dressings and removal of sutures
